At first glance from the outside it didn't really match what was waiting inside. The exterior seems a bit antiquated, however once inside it was an explosion of pink lights, adorable cherry blossom trees, hearts and all things pretty! The hubs surprised me and brought me here to celebrate our anniversary. The table was beautifully decorated with rose petals, cards, balloons and a hand held fan. There was so much to look at and admire. I absolutely loved everything ! For starters they brought us a cute little cone filled popcorn to snack on as we glanced over the menu. The service was good our waitress was friendly. What we ordered- Drinks - Diamond Girl - 10/10 Pink Champagne served in a cute glass llama a tu ex- 10/10 There version of an Old Fashion Croquetas de jamon- 10/10 Perfectly cooked- crispy on the outside and creamy inside Ceviche - 9/10 Definitely not your traditional kind but it was good and beautifully served Lobster Pasta- 5/10 Ehh it was okay. Safe more like it. I didn't eat it all I ate the lobster and left the pasta. The sauce was lacking flavor big time. Parilla - 8/10 Hubs enjoyed all the cuts meats on this platter. It was a mix of ribs, chorizo, picanha, fried yuca sticks Très Leches- 5/10 Not your typical Très leches at all. They presented it very nicely ( the hubs paid extra for this) the waiters all came out clapping and waving the fans as they presented us with the dessert- 10/10 for the performance and mini show. The flavor of the Très leches was not for me. Overall, the ambiance and vibe of the place was great. Definitely worth coming to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or a special occasion.

Very nice place for lunch or dinner. We came by for a late lunch. Many options to pick from. Food servings are a bit small but they were well in taste. The place is absolutely beautiful, staff is mainly all Spanish (Cubans) guys. Except for the girl that sits you. Food is a bit pricey. They have a Photo Booth in the back that's pretty nice. 4 stars for the great Desserts.

This place is great for anyone that has a partner they love, good for celebrating the one you love or an anniversary or engagement dinner ... the food is great and taste good I had their pasta with chicken. The steak options are very good. This is a classy place everything has a special detail. Also great music and on Fridays and saturdays they have a very good singer!

If there's a textbook definition restaurant where to enjoy a brunch date, "A Love Story" is it! My friend heard about Love Story, so weekend brunch plans were made! It's a hidden gem tucked away in the Kendall suburbs, and worth exploring. It looks like a modern farmhouse, and right from the entrance there are cutesy installations to take pictures at. Among them are a heart shaped throne seat & cutesy flowery photo booths; there's also a roving photographer who sells the printed and frame pic as well as a photo booth (though that one made us look really pale) :) As far as food, we arrived a little earlier than our brunch reservation and were promptly accommodated in a cozy patio table for 2, near the DJ and more "datey" photo opps. We started with unlimited mimis (the cost is comparable to a single one, so it is a great deal.) They had a nice balance of OJ and bubbles, perfect for day drinking. We then upgraded to cocktails, myself with a classic mojito and her with their "Carry Me Home" cocktail. This is a purse shaped glass full of a yummy cocktail, the glass is yours to keep and the bar staff was nice enough to pack the remaining drink for us. I also snuck in an espresso; their cocktail game is on point! For solid food :) we ordered their chicken & waffles, the shakshuka and their Volcan de Amor. Served with a hint of truffle and crispy slices of Serrano ham and a runny egg, this dish will take away any notions of ever calling mashed potatoes "boring". We also shared a generous plate of their Shakshuka with its yummy balance of tomato, goat cheese crumble and artistically presented eggs. I took the lead with my favorite of chicken and waffles; the chicken breast was lightly breaded and the Serrano ham syrup gave a delicious twist to this brunch classic. Although it was a full Sunday brunch, the staff was really friendly, even offering to take some pictures of us. They also were pretty relaxed about letting us linger to enjoy the ambience. I would certainly recommend A Love Story for a cozy brunch with that kind of someone.

My husband I went here this weekend for our anniversary and the most amazing experience!! I knew it was going to be pretty, but I was blown away with how incredibly beautiful it was. I feel like it being Christmastime probably made it even more magical and beautiful than it usually is. We had ordered the anniversary package, so our table had rose petals on it, a Happy Anniversary sign with A Love Story fan (for us to keep) and a pretty heart vase with three roses (also for us to keep). The whole setup was so beautiful. There was also a photographer to take pictures of us at the table and at a nutcracker backdrop in front of the restaurant. Near the end of our meal she brought us six framed pictures. They were $20 each, and we bought 3 of them bc they were so beautiful! (A server also took one of us with my phone, so it seems that's still an option lol). We were seated at a high top, as all the regular tables were booked by the time I made the reservation. I read some negative things here on Yelp about this table (the one closest to the bathroom) but my husband and I agreed it was really not bad at all. We got to sit on the end instead of squeezed between two other tables. There were a couple times that people were lined up next to us to use the bathroom and it was mildly awkward, but every one is in close proximity even if sitting at a table. (In all honesty, the only thing we didn't like about the restaurant is that there is one bathroom, total, for every one to share). Our server was incredible as well! I don't remember his name.. maybe Fernando? (I'm so sorry if I'm getting it wrong!) He was soo friendly and helpful and seemed like such a genuinely kind person. He made the whole evening feel so special. As for food and drinks.. our server recommended the Cabernet Franc which was a good not too sweet or dry wine. For appetizers we had the Dale Croquecita and the Shrimp Ceviche. Both were fantastic. The croquecitas were two each of ham, cod, and lobster. For our meals I had the Lo Quiero a Morir which was a beef tenderloin on top of a mushroom risotto, and my husband had Lovely BBQ Ribs with a side of tostones which said were really good. I tried the tostones too and they were seasoned so well and fried to perfection. The risotto was delicious. The anniversary package came with a free dessert, so we ordered the Our Famous Flan. Hands down the best flan I've ever had!! They brought it out to us in a "fan parade" (servers all flapping (?) their famous fans) and the desert had sparklers on it. The server took a quick picture of us before the sparks went away. Near the end the server instructed us to write on the heart lock that also came with our package (and to take video of each other doing so... such a nice touch!) Then we went out back where there is a patio for dining too, and we locked our heart on the heart fence area. The back was gorgeous. It seems there may have been a wedding there earlier (which would explain the bride and groom taking pictures by a classic car out front when we first arrived lol). There was also a beautiful carriage with lights and hibiscus that we were able to take pictures in too. So all in all we had both a FABULOUS experience AND dinner here. There were plenty of people dining there that weren't outwardly celebrating anything, and I totally think it would still be worth it to go just because, but I'm glad that our first experience was for our anniversary. Definitely look forward to going back sometime, and maybe even joining their wine club!

Beautiful place and great service! Such a romantic ambiance and great music. I loved it so much. Highly recommend for a birthday or anniversary! Their wine tasted great and the food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was very friendly. Make a reservation and try to get here earlier to find parking.
